Job Summary
Are you ready to join our team delivering fresh bread, rolls and European specialty breads? Turano Baking Company is a Chicago family owned and operated bakery dedicated to quality and service for over 60 years.
We are looking for a career minded and dedicated Route Salesperson to join our expanding team. Our team works independently maintaining and building their customer base by providing a great product and exceptional customer service.
What You’ll Do
- Deliver fresh bread and specialty bakery products daily to restaurants, schools, grocery stores, and venues
- Manage and grow your assigned customer base
- Build strong relationships with store managers and buyers
- Rotate product, check freshness, and maintain presentation standards
- Assist with orders and identify sales opportunities
- Load, verify, and safely transport product each day
- Represent Turano with professionalism and reliability
- You will work independently while being supported by a strong team!
Schedule: Five (5) days per week.
What We’re Looking For
- 1–2+ years* of route sales, delivery, merchandising, or customer service experience preferred
- Strong work ethic and self-motivation
- Professional communication skills
- Valid driver’s license with safe driving history
- 21 years of age or older
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs consistently
- Organized, dependable, and customer-focused
- Able to pass background and drug screening
