Job Summary
The Vice President of Operations provides executive leadership for manufacturing operations across seven manufacturing and distribution facilities. Serve as a member of the Executive Committee, partnering with executive leadership to establish corporate strategy, evaluate growth opportunities, allocate capital, and execute long-term operational initiatives that improve profitability, scalability, and customer satisfaction. Provide executive oversight for Operations, Engineering, Maintenance, Quality, Food Safety, Procurement, Supply Chain, Warehousing, Inventory Management, Continuous Improvement, and Plant Leadership.
Ideal candidates will have the following:
- BS degree
- Servant leadership style with a coaching and mentoring approach
- Multi-plant leadership of food and beverage plants with a preference for ingredients
- Ability to align manufacturing strategy with business objectives while developing strong leadership teams and fostering a culture centered on safety, quality, accountability, and continuous improvement
- Must be willing to work with a certain amount of ambiguity
- Plant start-up experience is a plus
